Microsoft recently lost the court battle with Eolas
Technologies over how to execute an embedded program
object in a web browser. This has forced Microsoft to
change the way interactive content are embedded in Internet
Explorer, including ActiveX controls, Adobe Reader,
Firefox plug-ins, Java applets, Flash, QuickTime Player,
Windows Media Player, etc. The latest WireFusion 4.1.14
update, officially released today, contains a work-around
for the Eolas Technology patent.

4.0.3 update, which contains several new features. A
new GIF Animation object allows for GIF animation playback
within presentations and it's now also possible to publish
presentations as GIF animations. Another great feature

Demicron releases a solution to the Windows XP and missing
Java problem. A new script detects if both the Microsoft
Java VM and the Sun Java Plug-in are missing on the
client system when viewing a web page containing a Java
applet. If Java is not available on the client system,
the user will automatically be asked to download, install
and run the latest Sun Java Plug-in.

on all their sold PCs. The new distributors are Acer,
