WireFusion 2.1 from Swedish software developer Demicron

New version of WireFusion with improved interface
and advanced 3D possibilities
Today the Swedish software developer Demicron announced
WireFusionTM 2.1, a new version of the acclaimed and
highly recognized web graphics tool.
Demicron, the recognized leader in developing easy-to-use,
high quality software solutions with a focus on the
programming language Java, today has announced that
it is shipping WireFusionTM 2.1, the newest version
of the company´s accoladed web graphics tool.
WireFusion is a drag-and-drop visual-programming tool
developed for creating advanced, interactive and dynamic
presentations and animations, in the form of Java applets,
without knowing a single line of the Java language.
Included in WireFusion 2.1 is a large set of new functions
and improvements, one of the new innovations is 3D-possibilities.
The user is now able to, in a unique way, handle advanced
image-processing filters on both 2D graphics and 3D
models in real-time. The user can create 3D presentations
and animations in his favourite 3D modeling tool supporting
the 3D-format VRML, as for example 3ds maxTM, and then
import them into WireFusion. Advanced interactivity
can then easily be included without any knowledge in
scripting or programming. The new support of 3D in WireFusion
2.1 gives the user an opportunity to combine 2D and
3D presentations, and even reuse interactive or animated
2D presentations as textures on the 3D models. WireFusion
presentations are suitable for use on the Internet,
fairs, in digital campaigns and digital advertisements,
as product presentations in on-line stores and on company
homepages, games, e-learning and for teaching purposes.
- Since the release of the first version of WireFusion
there has been over 30.000 downloads of the tryout version
from our own homepage alone. With this new version we
anticipate a still higher level of trial and registered
users since the software now includes a combination
of advanced 2D- and 3D-possibilities and a much more
user-friendly interface, says Stefano de Carolis, CEO

Plug-in free
The homepage visitor can view the presentations created
using WireFusion in all cross-platform Java enabled
browsers (Netscape 3.0+ and Internet Explorer 3.0+).
This means that no extra downloads or frequent updates
are needed for viewing WireFusion 2D and 3D presentations
on the Internet.
Software Development Kit
The worldwide community of third party Java developers
can now develop and distribute new features to WireFusion
with the new PluginMaker.
Price and shipment
A powerful tryout version of WireFusion 2.1 can be downloaded
from the homepage of Demicron. The tryout version includes
all functions as included in the registered version.
WireFusion 2.1 is available in two versions, one for
non-commercial use and a Pro-version. Both versions
include all features. The price for WireFusion 2.1 Pro
is $499 US and for the non-commercial use version $99
US. WireFusion 2.1 is sold as a downloadable software
