Demicron brings Java to watchmaker OMEGA
Stockholm, Sweden (February 14, 2002) - Demicron, the
recognized leader in developing of rich media software
for the web with a focus on Java, today announced that
they have signed a general agreement to develop interactive
watches for the Swiss watchmaker OMEGA's new Internet
site (www.omegawatches.com). A great number of OMEGA´s
watch collection will be displayed online with interactivity
and correct atomic time.
The online watches will be created using the web-authoring
tool WireFusion, developed by Demicron, and will give
the OMEGA site visitors an increased understanding of
the functionality and appearance of the watch. The on-line
OMEGA watches, created using the WireFusion technology,
can be viewed in all cross-platform Java enabled browsers,
without any extra download or frequent update of plug-ins.
