Hi,
my first reaction about wirefusion was: Wow that was what i have waited for a long time. Im a 3D artist /developer and want WireFusion for showing wrml worlds on internet, but cant use wirefusion for that.
Its cause i cant move the camera in wirefusion =(.

Hi Risto,

acctually, in WireFusion you can *only* move the cameras, not the objects. But maybe you mean something else!?

Do you mean that you want to animate the camera? That you can do in your 3d authoring tool, for example in 3ds max, then you can trigger/run that camera animation from WireFusion.

Then, in WF-3D 2.0 (that will be released later this month) you can also have automatic "camera glides" between preset camera positions.

However, one thing still lacking in WF-3D, is a walk-mode and collision detection, which would be desirable when creating worlds.

Hi,
k...after i had run the 3d addon i thought the object was rotated and the camera was fixed 8) .

But now i understand how you have made the 3dworld Transformations.
I really really want "lookAt", "moveCamera", and "checkColl" functions =). I have coded in OGL and D3D and i suppose it dont need very much coding to make them....or am i wrong?

Excepted these things you have made a very very fine product of wirefusion. Will check out the v2.0 of 3D and if i find it good, i will certainly buy it for my organisation. I hope you can read that reply cause im a little bad in english.

Greetings,
Risto

Risto,

a new feature in WF-3D (v2.0), which might interest you then, is a connection between the 3DScene object and the Java object. It will hence be possible to reach and program (control) the used VRML file in detail using Java.
