Hi all thought I would post this here to get some feedback and ideas on how to improve upon what we are building.

Currently I have only one vehicle on the site for the demo, but ultimately we will have nearly 4000 vehicles.

The end product is going to pull data from a DB based on the users selected Year, Make and Model of vehicle, and then apply the correct tires and wheels with the appropriate sizings. The user will then have the ability to apply the color themes for that particular vehicle which are also pulled in from the DB.

Currently in the demo the Screenshot module is unhooked, but what that will do is take a snapshot of the vehicle, ask for a email address, and then send off the vehicle image, tire, and wheel data to the user with purchasing options.

I have also unhooked the Print function in this demo. The wheels will be displayed as thumbnails beneath the WF applet and will dynamically swap in/out when clicked... still need to add this feature so a page refresh isn't required.

Anyhow, take a peek and let me know what y'all think!!

Thanks to all on the forums here for the help and of course the WF team who are GREAT at supporting this awesome product.

Cheers.

Hi pixelEngine,

interesting vision of things to come. If I may add where I think the concept would end up:

You would go to a car dealers web site, fill in a form stating variables such as color preferences, your height, number of passengers and so on and a car will be designed for you on the fly parametrically. Then the manufacturer will build and ship it to you. In other words no two cars will be alike as they are custom built for you. IMO the good folks at WF should consider incorporating a parametric CAD software engine such as ACAD inventor or desktop.
Good luck with your project.
