| Create a WireFusion presentation
and win a job worth £20.000
Design and build a WireFusion presentation to show case
The Kool Cap. Create and texture the 3d model
using your choice of software from the sketches and
description given. The product is to be animated in
the two ways outlined in the brief. How you display
these animations is up to you.
Brief
This is a cap that has pockets to insert cool
gel packs to keep the user cool.
Sketches
of The Kool Cap >
This is a fitted cap. The material is a breathable
material inside an out. The inside is where all the
pockets are located. The brim of the hat has a sweatband
around it to collect any run off condensation from the
gel packs. There are five pockets that surround the
hat. Insert the frozen cool gel packs in the top openings
of the pockets. The gels pack pockets, as well as the
gel packs are insulated so that they are not too cold
against the head. There is an after market version of
the Kool-Cap, this is called The Spider Cool. This is
a series of five pockets and gel packs that can be inserted
into any hat. There is a piece of Velcro around the
top of the five pockets that allow the Spider to stay
inside a hat. One size fits all. Any color. Show black
or red.
Dimensions of presentation:
750px x 450px
The presentation will have two animations:
Animation 1. Show the hat and then the inside view,
with the gel packs inserting.
Animation 2. Show the aftermarket Spider-Kool, gel packs
insert and then the whole unit inserting into a hat.
The presentation will have the following text features:
1. Title
2. Summary of Product
3. Textual description of each animation.
All text must be pulled from an external text file
so textual changes can be made to the presentation without
having to re-publish the applet. You don’t need
to write the content for the summary of the product,
as long as there is reasonable space for it to be added
through the external text file. Speed of production
is a big factor in this competition. You should be spending
no longer than 2 days from start to finish on the creation
of the presentation. We appreciate your honesty on this
matter, and when submitting your entry please state
the time spent on its creation. Aspects that improve
the visual quality of the presentation, for example
texture baking will be looked at, but more emphasis
will be placed on the functionality, usability and clarity
of the presentation. The WireFusion Source file will
also be looked at to examine your work flow and efficient
use of the program.
